Bill Pickess and Samantha Impey were invited to give a talk to members of the Wilburton Alternative Group ( formerly the Mothers’ Union) on Tuesday, 12 November.
After negotiating the outlying country roads at Wilburton, Bill finally arrived at his destination to join Samantha in the comfortable surroundings of their hosts’ farmhouse. Soon after, members of the group arrived. Seated round the welcoming fire, seventeen to eighteen ladies heard Bill and Samantha tell how Fenprobe started, how it works and were shown the free player given to each listener.
The Group’s Secretary, Barbara Yarrow thanked the two speakers and handed them a collection of £40 for Fenprobe’s fund.
