Brian Gowler, 60, received an award from NHS Blood and Transport for the milestone donation.
Mr Gowler, who lives in Littleport with his wife, Annie, said: “I started giving blood around 25 years ago I suppose.
“I might be registered disabled but that can’t stop me from helping others and you get such a good feeling when you donate blood. I’d urge everyone to do it if they’re able to.”
Anyone aged between 17-65 and in general good health can potentially give blood. Call 0300 123 23 23 or visit www.blood.co.uk.
